(PHILADELPHIA, PA) In addition to receiving $2 off their regular admission price, students can take a special "Self-guided Student Safari," available at both the main box office as well as the Zoo's website – www.philadelphiazoo.org. The "Self-Guided Student Safari" challenges students and their families to discover some of the over 1,300 rare and endangered animals at America's First Zoo. Children can have a perfect "Zoo Day" off from school as they can continue to learn in fun, engaging and educational ways. The special $2 off student pricing is available on the following dates:
September 30th and October 1st (Rosh Hashanah)
October 9th - (Yom Kippur)
October 13th (Columbus Day)
November 4th (Election Day)
November 6th and 7th (NJEA Conference)
November 11th (Veterans Day)
Even as the seasons change, all guests visiting the Zoo are in for a treat as they can explore the many heated, indoor areas of the Zoo which include the Dodge Rare Animal Conservation Center, the Zoo's Reptile and Amphibian House, PECO Primate Reserve, the Small Mammal House and more.
