Since 1969, Central Bucks West and Central Bucks East have been dishing out their fraternal quarrels on the field.
Just like a normal brother relationship, one is not always the winner of the dispute.
For 31 of the times, Central Bucks West has declared victory.
For 6 of the times, Central Bucks East has emerged with the win.
One time, they tied.
For the better part of this 40 year brother battle, the Bucks of CB West showed who was the powerhouse, but since the CB family grew another offspring in the form of Central Bucks South a few years back, the Bucks have not been able to regain their stronghold over this family feud.
Meanwhile, the Patriots of CB East have had enough of being the underdog in the family and have taken it to their parents' western prodigy in recent years.
In 2005, East shutout West 35-0.
Last year, East defeated West again 14-7, but this time it was a new local for the Central Bucks sibs – last year, it was on the Game of the Week.
This year will be no different.
The two Bucks County squads will see action on the Week 7 edition of the Game of the Week.
Though, it will be shown on 6abc.com, West is hoping for a different outcome; they know they were able to take down their new, invigorated East counterpart in 2004 and 2006, and are looking to walk out this year with those same results.
It is the sibling rivalry of all sibling rivalries and it happens this Friday on the 6abc Game of the Week.
Central Bucks West is ready to best their 2 win record of last season.
Central Bucks East is ready to win this rivalry two years in a row.
Both teams, both brothers, are ready to seize the moment.
