Rescue workers had to free a 23-year-old woman who was trapped in her car after it flipped over on a Philadelphia street.

The car went out of control Thursday morning at one at 52nd Street and Lancaster Avenue in the Parkside section of the city.

Firefighters got to the overturned vehicle and starrted right away to try to cut open the car to free the female driver.

Medics took the woman to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where there's no word yet on her condition.

Investigators are trying to determine why the car went out of control.
