Woman arrested for deadly Blue Route crash

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS, Pa. - October 10, 2008 Twenty-two-year old Roison O'Neill surrendered to authorities at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Wynnefield Heights Friday morning.

The Newtown Square woman is still recovering from injuries sustained in the crash that killed another driver. It was back on September 12th when O'Neill's car, going north in the southbound lanes of the Blue Route, slammed into an oncoming car.

Sixty-three-year-old Patricia Waggoner of Massachusetts was killed. She has family members in the area.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman says O'Neill's blood-alcohol level was nearly two and a half times the legal limit. She's was being arraigned at noon.
