Effort to curb teenage-pregnancy at Gloucester High

School board members at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Massachsetts voted to allow contraceptives, such as condoms and birth control pills, to be distributed by the school's health clinic. That's where seventeen students reportedly got pregnant last school year.

"It's not going to please everyone. In fact, I'm sure it'll displease many, but I think it's the right step for us now this community," committee member Gary Verga said.

Students will still need parents' consent and parents can opt out.
