Man dies in 1 of 2 Wilmington shootings

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - October 13, 2008 Police say the first happened shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of West Fourth Street. A 27-year-old man was killed and a 24-year-old man suffered a head wound. The wound was not considered serious.

The second shooting happened in the 2200 block of North Claymont Street, where police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the head while in the driver's seat of a stopped car. He was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
