That's the lesson a Hernando County, Florida, deputy has learned the hard way.
The sheriff's office reports Deputy Joseph Tibor was dispatched to investigate reports of an "extremely large pig" on the loose and tearing up a yard.
Tibor found a 450-pound wild boar flashing his tusks at anyone who approached.
The deputy tried zapping the beast with a Taser.
But the 50,000 volts didn't phase the animal a bit.
The wild boar was eventually herded into a neighbor's trailer.
