Deer decoy used to snag hunter

State Fish and Wildlife agents say they've charged a 28-year-old Sussex County man with illegal hunting.

Agents say they placed a decoy deer in the Dagsboro area after receiving complaints from area residents who saw someone spotlighting deer.

They say the decoy helped them find Adam Majchrzak, of Dagsboro, is charged with spotlighting, hunting out of season, hunting from a motor vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle. Agents say they seized a 12-gauge shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle.

A trial is pending in Superior Court in Georgetown.
