Police: Woman carjacked, raped

READING, Pa. - October 20, 2008 - Investigators say it happened on Saturday, October 18th around 12:45 a.m.

Police say the 22-year-old woman was carjacked in a parking lot and driven to an area about a quarter of a mile away.

According to investigators, she was physically attacked and raped.

Police add, she was left at the scene after her attackers stole her vehicle.

That vehicle was found on fire in the city of Reading, about three miles from the scene.

Police say the victim had spoken with two of the suspects at Blind Hartman's Tavern. Two of the suspects were seen leaving the tavern shortly after the victim did.
