SUV collides with car in Tenn. crash, killing 4

HUNTSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - October 25, 2008 Hospital spokeswoman Myala Romines says 15-year-old Ashley Mason died Saturday night. She was ejected from the SUV after it hydroplaned and slammed into the oncoming Ford Taurus late Friday.

Police identified the teenagers killed as 17-year-old Scarlette A. Hill, 15-year-old Jaime Hill, and 16-year-old driver Shirley N. Hughett. Mason had been taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

A passenger in the car, Jeweline Ledbetter King, was killed. King's 22-year-old daughter-in-law, Miranda King, lost her unborn child from injuries in the crash.
