Police say the shooting happened about 2:30 A.M. on the 100 block of West Norris Street in the West Kensington section of the city.
The gunman shot the victim in the back.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where there's no word on his condition.
Police have not yet given an indication that they have found any motives or have suspects in mind.
