Car rams ambulance; 4 hurt

Four people were injured when a car plowed into an ambulance in Gloucester County.

The crash happened near Tylers Mill Road and Lambs Road in Mantua Township, about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say a pregnant woman was in the ambulance when it was hit by the car. The ambulance slid off the road and into a home.

The pregnant woman, 2 EMTs and the driver of the car were hurt. Officials tell Action News they should recover.

There's no word yet if the woman's unborn child was injured by the impact of the collision.

Police tell Action News that the driver of the car faces charges.
