The investigation into Cappuccio started September 5, 2008. Richland Township Police officers found Cappuccio with a 17-year-old male inside a vehicle at a shopping center in Quakertown.
Officials say Cappuccio met the teen and two others while he was a youth leader at the First United Methodist Church in Perkasie. Cappuccio allegedly took the three juveniles to various concerts starting in 2005; allegedly smoked marijuana with two of them; and gave all three of them alcohol on different occasions.
Cappuccio faces three counts of endangering the welfare of children, three counts of corruption of minors, three counts of furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverages to minors and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Cappuccio is set to have a hearing today, and will be prosecuted by a member of the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.
