Voters in San Francisco have rejected Proposition R.
It would have poked some fun at the outgoing president, by renaming the Oceanside waste water treatment facility the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.
Some critics said the name change wasn't fair -- to the hard-working sewage plant.
The White House never did comment on the ballot measure.
