Corzine doubtful of Obama administration post

New Jersey Gov. Jon S. Corzine is downplaying speculation that he's on the short list of candidates for U.S. Treasury Secretary under the Obama administration. Corzine tells New York radio station WCBS he's doubtful he'd make the cut.

Corzine says while "you never say never," he's not looking for the job and wants to stay in New Jersey.

Corzine says he hasn't spoken with the Obama transition team about a possible appointment.

The Democrat, who initially backed Hillary Clinton, says his priority remains New Jersey's economy.

Corzine has served as an informal adviser to Obama during the campaign.
