Corzine doubtful of Obama administration post

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - November 5, 2008 Corzine tells New York radio station WCBS he's doubtful he'd make the cut.

Corzine says while "you never say never," he's not looking for the job and wants to stay in New Jersey.

Corzine says he hasn't spoken with the Obama transition team about a possible appointment.

The Democrat, who initially backed Hillary Clinton, says his priority remains New Jersey's economy.

Corzine has served as an informal adviser to Obama during the campaign.
