At 112, George Rene Francis has lived through 19 U.S. presidents and six decades of Jim Crow laws.
He told his daughters he feels like getting out of his wheelchair and jumping and down to celebrate Obama's presidential win.
Today, Francis lives in a Sacramento, California, nursing home.
He remembers casting his first presidential vote in 1932, for F.D.R.
A daughter says Francis voted for Obama with an absentee ballot.
