WARMINSTER, Pa. (AP) - November 7, 2008

Montreal, Canada,-based Transcontinental says market conditions are having a major impact on the marketing programs of financial institutions. Those are some of its largest direct mail customers.

Transcontinental will close its printing plant at Warminster, 20 miles north of Philadelphia. It is moving that work to a plant in Hamburg, about 75 miles away in the Reading area.

The Warminster employees will be offered separation pay and job hunting assistance. They can apply for jobs at Hamburg.
