JUNIATA - November 20, 2008 The accident occurred in the Juniata section of Philadelphia Thursday evening around 6:00 p.m. at Whittaker and Hunting Park Avenues.
Police say a 67-year-old woman was crossing eastbound on Hunting Park when she was hit by a vehicle going north on Whitaker.
She was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition with head injuries.
Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the incident.
