According to police, Wright reported she was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man while she was taking the daily deposits to the bank. Investigators, however, found inconsistencies in statements by Wright and Buck.
Police say the women later admitted staging the robbery and splitting the proceeds with a third person, who has not been identified. Wright and Buck are charged with theft and conspiracy.
