Pharmacist allegedly sold drugs out of van

LANSDALE, Pa. (AP) - November 26, 2008 Police say an undercover investigation led them to 43-year-old Vasilios Katogiritis.

He was arrested on Nov. 18 for allegedly selling prescription drugs such as Percocet, morphine, oxycodone and Viagra in Cheltenham. Police say they confiscated more than 1,100 pills.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman says, "He was running literally a drug emporium outside of a van. You could get anything you wanted."

Katogiritis is being held in the Montgomery County Prison on $25,000 bail.

His attorney, John I. McMahon Jr., was not available for comment when contacted by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
