School bus involved in South Whitehall crash

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - December 3, 2008 Their school bus and several cars collided at Mauch Chunk and Mechanicsville roads.

We're told 24 students escaped injury.

Police say a car headed south on Mauch Chunk hit the northbound bus. That driver then apparently struck another motorist.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals.

The school bus driver and the students were not injured.
