Ex-AC pol faces 3 years in sex video case

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) - December 4, 2008 Councilman Eugene Robinson, who is a Baptist minister, was videotaped having sex with a prostitute in 2006. Prosecutors said Callaway used the tape to try to force Robinson to resign, but Robinson contacted authorities instead.

Robinson said the sex was consensual and the money that he gave the woman was to buy sodas.

Callaway pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit invasion of privacy and is expected to be sentenced to three years.

Callaway is already serving a 40-month federal sentence for bribery and the latest term would be served at the same time.
