Action News was on the 700 block of Longwood Avenue as investigators removed the body of a 77-year-old woman from her home. Police say Maria Gniotek was stabbed to death with a kitchen knife.
Her 89-year-old husband, Aleksander Dziarski, was hospitalized after apparently trying to kill himself.
Investigators haven't called him a suspect, but they do say nobody else was involved in the tragedy.
