Fire, shooting at Cumberland Co. farmhouse

UPPER DEERFIELD TWP., N.J. - December 9, 2008 One person was shot inside a rural farmhouse around 1:15 this morning on the 200 block of Rosenhayn Avenue in Upper Deerfield Township.

Another man was found dead inside a burning car on the property. The fire caused a minor brush fire. The flames brought down utility wires, forcing firefighters to back off the scene.

The shooting victim was shot multiple times and was transported to Cooper University Hospital where later died.

So far police are not commenting on what sparked the incident.

No word on the relationship between the victims.
