He's pleased the D.C. City Council has extended last call to nearly dawn.
Washington's bars, restaurants and nightclubs will be allowed to serve booze until 5 a.m. during the inauguration period.
The extended drinking hours will be in effect from January 17-21.
Obama will be inaugurated on the 20th.
Barnes says he expects to rake in as much as $700,000 a night, thanks to the three extra hours of drinking.
