Manuel hasn't had a losing record in four seasons with Philadelphia (648-354). He wasn't an instant hit when he replaced /*Larry Bowa*/, but has since become a fan favorite in Philly.
He led the Phillies to the World Series only weeks after his mother, June Manuel, died during the NLCS.
