ISTANBUL, Turkey - December 16, 2008 --
It was a tricky rescue for firefighters. The boy in Turkey survived several hours locked in the metal safe. He says he was playing with friends when he climbed in and the door shut and locked.
Police and firemen rushed to the rescue, first drilling a hole for the 8-year-old boy to breathe. Then they worked on getting him out.
Doctors say the boy is doing just fine.
