SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. (AP) - December 19, 2008

State police say numerous weapons, facsimile weapons and facsimile explosive devices have been seized at the student's home in Schuylkill Haven, in rural eastern Pennsylvania, 70 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Staff members at Blue Mountain High School in Schuylkill Haven told troopers Thursday that several students reported that they believed there was a threat that a student might come to the school with the intention of harming people with a firearm.

Authorities say a 17-year-old Blue Mountain High student, whose name wasn't released, was apprehended Thursday morning in Pottsville. District Judge Charles Moran ordered him held in lieu of $100,000 bail on charges including criminal attempt-criminal homicide.
