A fire department spokesman told WHDH-TV that the truck apparently went through the intersection and slammed into slammed into the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard complex.
The truck lodged into the side of the building, several feet past a destroyed wall.
There are reports of injuries, but the number and extent are uncertain.
A person was seen being carried out on a stretcher by emergency crews.
