Fly the homeless out of Hawaii

A lawmaker in Hawaii says she has one solution to the problem of the homeless.

Buy them plane tickets.

State Representative Rida Cabanilla says she wants to send the homeless back home.

She plans to ask fellow lawmakers for $100,000 for the proposal.

A recent University of Hawaii survey found nearly 20 percent of people in homeless shelters statewide had been in Hawaii for a year or less.

But not everyone wants to go back.

One recent arrival from Chicago says Hawaii's great.
