Deadly auto-pedestrian accident

WEST NORRITON, Pa. - February 14, 2009 The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on the westbound ramp from route 422 to Trainer Road.

The pedestrian was killed instantly.

The pedestrian is identified as 34-year-old Peter Simmons, Jr. of Philadelphia.

The driver remained on the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

There are no charges so far.
