Who killed Ari Weston?

OLNEY - March 6, 2009

"He was a good person. He did do anything you know for anybody.

Ari Weston's mother, Annette, says her son was a new father getting his life on track.

"With my help, I helped him he had gotten his high school diploma. He had just finished this welding program and got certified."

Ari's future ended Monday night June 30th.

"It was just devastating."

Annette says just before 11:30 pm Ari and a couple friends were walking to the bus stop at Rising Sun and Olney Avenue in the city's Olney section.

"A white Le Sab pulled up and they called Ari over to the car and they just shot him multiple times."

Ari died at the hospital. His mother learned that he had gotten into an argument with two men two days prior. She says she had no idea what the argument was about.

"Two guys threatened they were going to "murt" him which is the murdered term these teenagers and young children are using now."

Ari lived with his mom and she says it took her months to be able to go back to the place where her son called home.

"I just moved back into my home I had to get everything done over completely over to get rid of some of the memories."

There's a one-thousand dollar reward for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
