Man robs Center City bank

CENTER CITY - March 12, 2009 The unidentified subject entered the branch at approximately 2:40 p.m. and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. The subject fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The subject is described as a black male 25 to 30 years of age, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, thin build, with very dark complexion, closely cropped black hair and a short dark mustache and beard. The subject may possibly have a gap between his two front upper teeth. The subject was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, with the hood down. The subject may have red dye stains on his skin or clothes.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward available for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this subject. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
