Casey pleaded guilty on Friday and is scheduled to be sentenced in July. Defense lawyer Francis Carmen says it's possible that his client will get a sentence so long that he will die in prison.
Prosecutors are seeking at least 60 years.
Casey was already in state prison on unrelated charges when he was charged in the attacks in May 2008. He was linked to the crimes by DNA.
