ROSEBURG, Ore. - March 25, 2009 - Lyon County sheriff's Lt. Rob Hall says Dale Wayne Hill was
arrested Wednesday on a charge of failing to register as a felon. A
background check revealed the alleged error after investigators
from Douglas County sought assistance.
Authorities say Hill was a suspect at the time Stephanie Condon
was reported missing on Oct. 31, 1998. Her remains were found March
13 by a man walking his dogs on a logging road.
A massive search and hundreds of clues poured into investigators
at the time of her disappearance to no avail.
