Fire damages George Washington H.S.

A fire at George Washington High School has caused significant damage to the school's auditorium. The fire department was called out to the school, located at Bustleton and Veree, around noon for the report of a fire.

The school was evacuated and the students and faculty were sent to the athletic field as a safety precaution.

The fire department was able to place the fire under control.

The fire is under investigation.
