Soldier killed in Iraq to be buried in NJ

PATERSON, N.J. (AP) - May 18, 2009 Sgt. Christian Bueno-Galdos was killed at a stress clinic in Iraq last week. Officials say the 25-year-old was among five soldiers allegedly gunned down by a distraught comrade.

His family considered burying him in Peru, where Bueno-Galdos emigrated from with his family as a seven-year-old. But they decided the soldier should be laid to rest in the U.S.

Carlos Bueno says he expects his son's body to be returned to New Jersey Monday. Funeral arrangement have yet to be completed.

His son joined the Army right out of high school. He leaves behind a wife.
