Fisherman becomes missileman

It's a big one that didn't get away.

A commercial fisherman hooked something that usually flies -- not swims.

Rodney Salomon caught a missile about 50 miles off the Florida Panhandle town of Panama City. It was a test device fired from an F-15 fighter jet nearly five years ago.

Salomon was hoping to keep his unusual catch, but the Air Force put a hook into that idea.

After a military bomb squad made sure the missile contained no explosives, it was dismantled to dispose of sensitive electronics.
