Plover Circle in the Sparrow Run community, has been charged with unlawful sexual contact, trespassing with intention to peep and burglary after police say he broke into his neighbor's home.

It happened around 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

When she woke up she saw Lane, who she recognized as a neighbor, standing nex to her.

Police say the teen armed herself with a kitchen knife and was able to defend herself from further attacks before Lane rane out of a back door.

Officers remained at the scene until Lane returned home at around 7:00 a.m.

Investigators say Lane went to the victim's home at around 2:00 a.m. and peeped inside the residence. While watching her, he found the sliding door unlocked, so he went inside and began groping the victim while she slept.

Investigators discovered Lane has been peeping through several windows of homes in the community since January 2009. In those cases, some were reported to police, while others went unreported as he was not spotted by witnesses.

Lane has been charged with the events from yesterday, however, additional charges are pending further investigation.
