Leave the bikers alone or else

Bike riders are getting some respect -- and protection in Columbia. Mo.

Drivers in the college town who harass bike riders risk a year and a possible $1,000 fine.

This week, the city council unanimously passed the ordinance.

Legal no-no's include throwing things at bike riders, making "frightening or disturbing" threats and horn-honking.

The bike riders have some friends in high places in Columbia.

Even the 76-year-old mayor pedals to work.
