A graduating high school senior is apologizing after designing his school's yearbook with an obscene message hidden on the cover. The student at Shaker Heights High School was able to disguise the 'f' word on the cover of the yearbook has already graduated, but that doesn't mean the controversy has been left behind.

Somehow, the school caught it before many of the yearbooks had been given out. The principal sent a letter of apology to students and their families. It says yearbooks distributed on or after june 3rd have undergone surgery to camouflage the offensive language.

The student also apologized, writing "I can not begin to explain the miserable feeling I brought upon myself when I betrayed the trust of all of you."

Officials say students can trade in their original yearbooks for one without the obscenity. Some say they'll keep their copy with the hidden foul language.
