Casino getting healthier women's toilet seats

Officials at Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie say some of the best seats in the house will soon be in the ladies rooms at its slot machine casino.

The casino is installing dispensers that automatically use a thin sheet of plastic to cover seats in the ladies rooms. All 46 women's stalls should have the dispensers by Wednesday.

The dispensers are made by Brill Hygienic Products Inc. of Delray Beach, Fla.

The dispensers are motion activated. It costs about 5 cents for each seat cover.

Alan Brill, president of the toilet seat cover company, says the devices won't be installed in the casino's mens' rooms. That's because some men don't lift the seats when they urinate, so it would defeat the purpose of the hygienic covers.
