Police say a SUV was travelling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The SUV went several hundred yards into the woods, hitting several trees before overturning.
Firefighters worked for more than an hour to free three victims trapped inside the vehicle.
They're all in serious condition at Christiana Hospital. Another victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A fifth victim suffered minor injuries.
