A new program is using the social networking Web sites Twitter and Facebook to track down missing bikes.
The idea is to get the word out as quickly as possible to police, repair shops and fellow riders.
Someone whose bike has been ripped-off can even upload a picture to Stolen Bikes Boston.
In about three minutes a blast is sent out to followers on Twitter and Facebook.
