CHICAGO - August 17, 2009 Now they want to determine how the infants died and if they were
related to 28-year-old Katie Stockton. The Rockton woman owns the
car and already is charged with first-degree murder in the freezing
death of a newborn left along a roadway in 2004.
Area residents named that infant Baby Crystal and organized her
funeral.
Stockton was arrested Aug. 5 in Merriam, Kan., after authorities
developed enough evidence to charge her in Baby Crystal's death.
They discovered the other bodies in a South Beloit impound lot
while searching for clues in that case.
