The finale was a demonstration by the Air Forces' Thunderbirds.
While the Thunderbirds' precise maneuvers exhibited pilot skill and the capabilities of high performance aircraft, to those watching on the ground, it was just plain "cool."
Last year's crowd was estimated to be 700,000. According to police, this year had an even bigger attendance.
