The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says shuttle buses were used between 15th Street and Spring Garden Street until the police activity was clear.
Woman kills self with Philadelphia subway train

The woman was was struck by a subway train shortly before 4 p.m.
Thursday at the 8th Street station on the Market-Frankford Line.
