NJ soldier killed on patrol in Afghanistan

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (AP) - August 25, 2009 Army Staff Sgt. Andrew Lobosco was 29.

The Somerville resident was in his second deployment in the war on terror.

Lobosco enlisted in the Army in January 2004.

The medical sergeant received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Lobosco is survived by his parents and a sister.
