Woman's body found in south Jersey

MANSFIELD TWP., Pa. - September 3, 2009 The body of a woman was found along Kinkora Road in Mansfield Township between Route 130 and Old York Road.

A motorist made the discovery yesterday on the ground near a field and a wooded area.

After an autopsy police said the woman was a homicide victim, however the exact cause of death was not being disclosed.

Police say the victim appears to be between 40 and 60 years of age. She is five-feet-three-inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Her hair is short and had been dyed a brownish/reddish color but is gray at the roots. She has dentures for her upper teeth, and is missing several lower molars. Her ears are pierced but she is not wearing any jewelry. She has two abdominal scars. She was barefoot when found and was wearing a black skirt and a short-sleeved green floral shirt. A green colored jacket was found near her body.
