4 hospitalized after house fire

PENNSAUKEN, NJ - September 5, 2009 The fire broke out at around 10:00 a.m. Saturday on the 4100 block of Myrtle Street in Pennsauken.

According to neighbors, the two children were trapped on top of a porch roof.

Neighbors were able to get a ladder and help the two children down off the roof.

However, one of the children rescued ran back inside the house for what witnesses say was to save a pet.

The child did come back out of the house.

All four occupants were transported to an area hospital for nonlife threatening injuries.

No other injuries have been reported.

Authorities are investigating.
